Shelter

Clients needing safe shelter will be referred for shelter screening after their initial crisis intervention contact.

Our confidential location affords families a safe, nurturing, supportive environment where the healing and self-empowerment process can begin. The program offers counseling, support groups, legal advocacy, children's services and help accessing appropriate community resources. Referrals include housing, government assistance, court/legal, employment, and other shelter programs.

Each family has their own room with shared bathrooms, kitchen, and communal living space. Clothing, toiletries, laundry facilities, and food are provided. Participants are required to share daily living chores, attend mandatory meetings, participate in goal planning sessions and respect shelter rules. Bilingual staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
